Useful Trees of New England Tour

In a brief stroll around the Village, meet some of the more common trees in the southern New England forest and learn how they have served the needs of New Englanders over the centuries. Learn to identify many of the most common trees used in furniture production in this area by local woodworkers. This tour is part of OSV’s programming relating to the museum’s exhibit Delightfully Designed – The Furniture and Life of Nathan Lombard (October 19, 2013-May 4, 2014).
